I grew up immersed in the landscapes of Northern New York, the ADK Mountains, New England, and Canada. Scrambling on the seashore, hanging out at remote lakes, and exploring the history of places like Le Château Frontenac and Old Montreal are my favorite childhood memories. My family's summers were spent at 'camps' and B&Bs in the ADK Park and New England (Massachusetts and Vermont), fostering a deep, lifelong yearning for the ocean and the mountains.
I spent over 30 years in Boston, where I attended Culinary School, met my spouse, and developed a profound appreciation for excellent beverages—especially beer and wine. As I mastered my understanding of world-class food and beverage interactions, my travel became focused on Europe. I found that the best expression of myself was often accompanied by: a chalice of Abbey beer in Belgium; a frothy Weissbier or pristine Lager in Germany, the Czech Republic, or Austria; or a charismatic glass of wine in Gigondas, in the Southern Rhône. This appreciation for the connection between time, place, and terroir continues to drive my exploration of the world, one delicious experience at a time.
I am also an author, with one manuscript in the editorial process and multiple other projects started. I have submitted my work to various writing contests and publications, and am excited to add elements of travel to my writing!

Trip Kloser
I was born in Chicago and raised in Sacramento. My journey in the beverage world began the old-fashioned way: loading beer trucks and making deliveries for my father's beer distribution business. This gave me hands-on experience not only in logistics, but in the stories, people, and places behind every product we sold. Through my years in distribution, sales, and consulting in the craft beverage industry, my love for beer and other beverages has only grown deeper.
For me, the perfect day is a narrow, winding road leading to a centuries-old European brewery, vineyard, or distillery, where the traditions of brewing, terroir, and community are so pronounced. I think the true spirit of a location isn't just in the beverages, but in the sights, history, and in the people, too.
This appreciation for connecting with the story is what led me to create trips that are true experiential journeys. My ultimate travel goal is always the next amazing face-to-face conversation, eye-opening experience, and, of course, finding a great glass of beer, wine, or whiskey.
I also run another travel company for “industry professionals”. The trips are specialized travel itineraries that are crafted exclusively for professionals and beer enthusiasts within the beer and brewing industries. Due to the highly technical nature of the discussions, specialized information, and advanced brewing science content presented on these trips, participation is primarily for individuals actively working in a related field.
